Users Now Have the Ability to Reset Locked NetTeller Accounts
In the event you lock yourself out of NetTeller you will now be able to reset your account without contacting the bank. You will have to complete the security question and answer from NetTeller before you are able to reset your password.
From your Welcome screen chose the tab labeled “options” and fill in the following boxes:
- Password Reset Question:
- Password Reset Answer:
The question and answer should be something you will easily remember, but something that know one else may know about you.
In the event you lock yourself out, click on the link Reset Password and you will be required to complete three boxes:
- NetTeller ID
- E-mail Address On File
- E-mail Subject
- By entering your personal e-mail Subject text in this field, we will add this text to the Password Self-Reset email we send you so you will know that the e-mail from us concerning your Password is legitimate and was generated by an inquiry of yours.
Shortly after completing the above information you will receive an e-mail with the subject you entered previously. A link will be contained in the body of the email in which the user will need to click on. The link takes you to a web page in which you will be prompted for your NetTeller ID and answer the security question that you had previously set. After successfully entering the information, you will be given the ability to enter a new password.
